the path to production

Until a tubus carrier is delivered out as a serial product, a minimum of one to two year can pass.
The pre-concept for a product usually comes up from a mix of our developers ideas, opinions and proposals from customers and the observation of the market (trends and technical innovations).

After the pre-concept is set, we make 2-D and/or 3-D drafts to be able to find possible difficulties during construction early. After that the first so called hand-sample is made for which we don't produce serial tools yet but use adjustable devices. Until it is ready to go into production there will be more than a dozen hand-samples made.

During this period the samples run already mechanical tests in our laboratory. We test the samples on the norm DIN EN 7900 and our own even stricter norms, which a carrier in our eyes has to full fill.

When the carrier is finally ready for production, the tool making starts. With these tools we produce some more samples, which again have to pass the already mentioned tests plus tests on keeping their measures, their workmanship and corrosions resistance. We run our own corrosions testing machine, usually used in the car industry. During these tests several salt spray tests run for 500 to 1000 hours per test, which the samples have to last through.
